Baked Soy Tofu

This baked tofu has been one of my most favourite things to make as being a vegan! And I just realized today that I’ve been constantly making it.. without even posting the recipe! So here it is, probably the easiest thing you will ever make. Oh, and if you didn’t like tofu before, this recipe will change your mind! (Because I used to HATE tofu).

Ingredients:

  • Approx. 315 grams extra firm tofu
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce 
  • Dash of black pepper 
  • Sesame seeds

Preparation: 

Step 1: Slice your tofu into bite-sized cubes.

Step 2: Combine your tofu in a bowl with the olive oil, soy sauce and black pepper. Let it marinade for approximately 5 minutes, and preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 3: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (if you don’t have any, you don’t necessarily need it). Next, spread your marinated tofu on your baking sheet. 

Step 4: Bake in the oven for 35 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 5: Once finished remove and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
